April 2011 marks the official start to SRDL’s 3rd season as a not-for-profit flat track roller derby organisation. We’ve watched our audience numbers grow over the past 2 seasons and we can’t wait to see what this year has in store for us!
In 2009/10, SRDL sold out 4 consecutive bouts at UTS/SBH Sports Stadium and then moved onto a bigger venue, the Hordern Pavilion, selling out 3 more consecutive bouts and attracting record crowds of almost 3,000 at each sold out bout in 2010.
