Drink lots of water in the days before so you're well hydrated 'cause 2 Ton Tuesdays will suck the life from you! Hopefully you are all looking forward to Saturday's training session as much as I am.

For those of you yearning in anticipation, here is a little taste of what awaits you:-

We will dedicate this session to helping improve our skating posture and our deportment around corners. It sounds gentle, but don't be fooled, this is Roller Derby training after all!

The aim of this session is to help remove the barriers that hold us back from skating fast, in comfort and with stability.

hey Everybody,
come and have a drink or 2 at the lovely lovely townie next Wednesday night the 7th of May from 7pm.

let talk about skates and stare at the beautiful banner adorning the main bar. For those who don't know the townie it is the fabulous pub right next to Newtown train Station.

Firstly, congratulations to all those who passed their beginners skills test today!

Secondly, to everyone who showed up today and gave it their all, good work I am so impressed by the way you all met every challenge I could offer with great enthusiasm, (even the dodgeball!) keep it up and we can all look forward to becomming even more awesome on our wheels.

	Now this is exciting - Bont, a local skate company who supplied the overwhelming majority of quad boots up until they made the switch to inlines, are making two new quad boots: a speed one and a derby one.
