FUN DAYS is back for its third year at Dunc Grey Velodrome. And it's free to come and watch!
What's it all about?
FUN DAYS is our open gender pot luck competition...with a twist! Like the inaugural 2023 season, there is a Jammer Head Start rule. But in 2024 Jim Peccable - brilliant mind behind FUN DAYS - also introduced the Wheel of Fun-tune.
What are the Jammer Head Start and Wheel of Fun-tune?
When a team is behind on points, their Jammer will get a time-headstart equivalent to the point differential. At various points during the game, there will be opportunities for skaters and officials to spin the Wheel of Fun-tune. Whatever the wheel lands on, skaters in the next jam have to follow: it could be skating anti-derby direction, 60 second penalties, 4-minute jams, or other chaos!

Sydney Roller Derby League's FUN DAYS: Sundays at the Velo – Open-gender tournament
Round 1 — Sunday 13 July
Round 2 — Sunday 31 August
Round 3 — Sunday 28 September
Round 4 — Sunday 2 November (Finals)
Doors open 10am and the FUN will begin!!!
