Get involved with Sydney Roller Derby League in 2026!


Ever been curious about roller derby? Do you want to learn more about what it takes to play this fun, competitive, exciting and maybe even life-changing sport?


Now is the perfect time to get involved with Sydney Roller Derby League for our 2026 season.


Come and Try Day

We'll be hosting our first Come and Try session of the year on 8 March. This is a great opportunity to learn more about the wonderful world of roller derby and have a crack at skating, plus get a sense of which of our Levels programs is right for you!


We have a skate library available with gear (quantities are limited) or you can bring your own.

Level One: Learn to Skate Program

Ready to take the plunge into learning to skate? Our Level One program starts on 15 March!


We'll teach ya all the essentials: starting, stopping, and generally getting comfortable on eight wheels. It's the best pathway into learning to officiate, play derby, or just upping your skating skillz.


This is a ten week program for folks who are new to skating. Sessions are Sunday from 12pm to 1.30pm the Dunc Gray Velodrome.

Level Two: Learn to Derby Program

If you're a confident skater or have completed our Level One program, our ongoing derby fundamentals program might be the one for you.


This is a twelve week couse beginning 15 March at the Dunc Gray Velodrome, with sessions on Sundays from 10am to 11.30pm and Tuesdays from 7pm to 9pm.
